All Mythical Beasts attending MythiCon must be at least 8 years of age and, if under 18 years of age, must be in attendance with at least one adult.
Point and shoot cameras are allowed. You may also take photos or videos using your mobile device. However, professional photo or video cameras - those with detachable lenses - are not permitted.

In order to access the pre-sale, you must be a Mythical Society 2nd or 3rd degree member. Go to mythicalsociety.com to purchase your membership and get in on the pre-sale! Once you're in, you'll receive a code from the Mythical Society team which allows you entrance into our pre-sale ticketing page.
No, airfare and ground transportation to/from the airport will need to be booked on your own if needed. Each package does include transportation to and from MythiCon at a designated shuttle location in Downtown Austin. We’ll provide the specific shuttle location closer to the event.
Credential check-in will be stationed at the Hilton Austin, however those who purchased a Ticket + Hotel package for Hyatt Regency Austin should report to their host hotel for check-in. Purchasers should refer to their email for specific instructions delivered via mythicon@onlocationexp.com
Yes, there will be a limited number of tickets in each package available without lodging.
Yes! There will be beverage stations & bars as well as food trucks available all weekend-long.
MythiCon specific merchandise will be available to purchase at MythiCon or online during MythiCon.
There are no vehicles allowed at MythiCon. You may only enter MythiCon via one of our shuttles departing from downtown Austin or by rideshare. We recommend the shuttle as it’s included in all MythiCon tickets!
There will not be storage space available at MythiCon. Please plan on keeping all your personal belongings with you!
Absolutely! Keep in mind you might be in crowds and will want to be comfortable as well.
Yes! There will be free guest wifi available at MythiCon all weekend long.
MythiCon is a cashless event! Only credit and debit cards will be accepted on site.
Not everything is free at MythiCon. Once inside, there will be opportunities to purchase food, drinks, merchandise, and a few other special activities.

Yes, as long as you keep your credentials you can come and go as you please and there will be shuttles departing and returning on a regular basis from MythiCon to Austin.
All orders are sold as non-transferable, however we do understand that there are certain times that you simply need to transfer the tickets as you can no longer attend the event as planned. The original purchaser must contact our Guest Services team at mythicon@onlocationexp.com to authorize an alternate pick-up person. This authorization will allow a friend or family member to pick-up the order on behalf of the original purchaser. All event emails and correspondence will still be sent to the original purchaser, and it is up to them to relay the information to the new guest that is attending MythiCon. Please note, alternate pick-ups may be authorized for free through Friday, September 30th, 2022. There will be a $100 fee for adding an alternate pick-up person after this date. Our Guest Services team can assist with processing alternate pick-ups requests up to 2 weeks prior to the event. After Friday, October 14th, 2022 alternate pick-ups will not be allowed.

All MythiCon events will offer general admission seating with the exception of the Super-Mega-Beasts receiving VIP seating at Rhett & Link’s live concert show.
All tickets and packages offer the option of purchasing with a payment plan. At the time of purchase, you will be able to choose between paying for your package in full or taking advantage of our payment plan. If you select our payment plan option, you'll pay 50% of the package price as the initial deposit during the time of booking and the remaining balance will be split evenly each month on the 19th (June 19th, July 19th, August 19th & September 19th) until September 19th. The last day to purchase with the payment plan is September 2nd. After this date, all packages must be paid in full. There will be a one-time $19.99 fee to opt into this payment plan which will be split across all installments.
Please note: The payment plan option must be selected during the TIXR checkout process and cannot be applied after the order has been submitted.
During the initial purchase, you will only be able to use one credit card. If you select to purchase with the payment plan and need to update the credit card on file for the final installment, please follow THESE directions to make the change.
Please note: the card used for the initial 50% deposit will be automatically charged for the final installment unless the billing information is changed via the directions above. If you leave the same credit card on file, that card will be automatically charged and no action will be needed on your end.

We will be adhering to all local & state mask requirements. We ask that you please bring a mask to MythiCon in case we require you to have them on while indoors. We’ll also have masks available at our First Aid tent all weekend.
All guests must be vaccinated OR provide a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours of day one at MythiCon. You will be asked for this information at check-in to receive your passes / credentials. If you are unable to provide proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test result taken within 48 hours of day 1, you will not be allowed into MythiCon and will not be entitled a refund.
If you or someone you're traveling with tests positive for Covid-19 just before your arrival or while you're visiting MythiCon, you will not be allowed in to MythiCon. No refunds will be given to any guest that tests positive for Covid-19.
